Starting to think about college for your sophomore or junior?
Join Belmont parents, caregivers, and students for “College Planning: Parents Who’ve Been There—Ask Them (Almost) Anything” on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at the Belmont Public Library, 336 Concord Ave.
Hosted by the Belmont High School PTSO, this free event features brief remarks from the BHS Guidance Department followed by a panel of BHS parents of current seniors and recent grads. Panelists will offer practical advice, share lessons learned, and answer your questions about the college planning process.
College planning can include defining parent and teen roles, supporting teens (without taking over), making college lists, planning visits, completing applications, and possibly exploring other paths after high school graduation.
The panel ends at 7:45 p.m., and will be followed by a casual reception with light refreshments. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
This event is open to all. No RSVP is required, but you can use this Google Form to reserve seats and send us questions for the panel.
