Belmont has a 50-year tradition of hosting a post-graduation ALL NIGHT PARTY for the graduating senior class. The party provides the graduates with a fun and safe way to celebrate with their classmates. This year's ANP will take place on Saturday, June 7 from 9 PM to 5 AM on Sunday. The tradition is for the JUNIOR CLASS FAMILIES to organize the party (and raise funds for the Class of 2026 party). We are looking for volunteers to participate in all aspects of planning this year's party while fundraising for next year's. If you would like to participate, please send an email to kauffinger@gmail.com.
Thank you,
Katie Auffinger and the ANP Committee
Welcome back and Happy New Year from the PTSO! We hope to see you at our free showing of Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Belmont High School auditorium.
Screenagers (updated in 2024) is an award-winning documentary that looks at the impact of screen technology on kids. It features personal stories from families, depicting the messy struggles that parents, tweens, and teens are having over social media, video games, academics and screen addiction. Through interviews with parenting authors and brain scientists, the film offers ideas on how adults can help kids navigate the digital world in a healthy way.
This is a community event and open to all Belmont parents and caregivers. Adults are encouraged to bring their middle school and high school-aged students. The film runs 60 minutes and will be followed by a discussion with the audience. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.
