Belmont High School

From the Principal's Desk

Friday, March 14th, 2025

Dear BHS Students and Families,

This past Wednesday, we had our first ever March community day. Over the past four years, we have built out our community days at the high school, but the March day has always ended up being too aspirational to plan and put into action. This year, student leaders took on the challenge, and planned out community day activities to brighten up the month of March and inject some community spirit into the week. I really enjoyed watching students lead events from improv and origami to gaming leagues and tug of war! The day ended with a mini pep-rally in the field house, and an optional staff v student basketball game after the bell. A big thank you to everyone who helped to make this day a success. As with our other community days, I expect that next year the day will be revised and rethought, and will continue to get better.

All Night Party 2025

Belmont has a long-standing tradition of hosting a post-graduation ALL NIGHT PARTY for the graduating senior class. This year will be the 51st year! The party provides the graduates with a fun and safe way to celebrate with their classmates. This year's ANP will take place on Saturday, June 7 from 9 PM to 5 AM on Sunday. The tradition is for the JUNIOR CLASS FAMILIES to organize the party (and raise funds for the Class of 2026 party). We are looking for more volunteers to help on our Food and Fundraising committees. If you would like to participate, please send an email to senioranp.bhs@gmail.com. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 26th at 7 pm in the BHS cafeteria.
