Come join us to help plan this fun event! A group of parents are meeting this Friday, January 31st @8:45am in the Mods. Fun and casual - pop on by and see how you can be part of the fun! The more the merrier! Email if you need help coming in the building during the meeting.
Mark your calendars for Friday, February 28th 6-8pm! DJ Carlo & DJ Paul are back with more music and games at Burbank Family Dance!
Please note - the Family Dance is not a drop-off event. Children are expected to be accompanied by their grown-up! Older siblings are invited to join the party, too.
Order NOW through February 14th! https://burbanksweats2025.itemorder.com/shop/product/46925510/
Show Your Burbank Pride with our Sweatpants Pre-Order! We are offering sweatpants in youth & adult sizes through Champions. The store will only be open for two weeks - Order Now before the online store closes on February 14th!
Champions has sample sweatpants in store if you're unsure about sizing (Ask for Port & Co Brand). Your order will be available for pickup from Champions Sporting Goods in Belmont at 53 Leonard St. in mid-March. Champions will email you, and we will also let you know when they are ready!
Been meaning to order a t-shirt or sweatshirt from our fall order? Check out our PTA Online Store - we have limited quantities left of all merchandise.

Sign up for a STEM Night Station HERE for 3/21, 6-8PM! Want to host a station but not sure about an activity? You don't have to be a scientist to host a station - here's a list of fun activities parents have set up in the past!
We really do need your help hosting a station or volunteering at the event...without parent involvement, we can't run STEM Night.
Thank you for your donations this year so far! Because of your generosity, as well as utilizing corporate matching at your companies, we are able to plan an additional all-school enrichment this spring: Animal Adaptations (Wildlife Encounters). We couldn't provide amazing in-school programming like this without your support. Check out all of this year's Enrichments!
Kindergarten Families - Today, the Acton Discovery Museum is visiting kindergarten classrooms with an exciting Force & Motion Workshop. Be sure to ask your child about it when they get home from school!
Join Ms. Williams for her monthly Principal Chat on Friday, February 7, 8:45-9:25 AM in Mods Classrooms. Coffee provided by the PTA
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring questions or concerns and learn about what's going on at Burbank. Have a specific question or topic you'd like addressed? Email Ms. Williams at lwilliams@belmontschools.net before the coffee.
This year for Kindness Week at Burbank, students have the choice to make Valentines at home to bring to school OR create Valentines in class. If you are able, please consider donating Valentine craft supplies and materials, like stickers, to the school. Please send to your classroom teacher by 2/7 so materials can be distributed, giving all students the opportunity to participate in making Valentines and showing kindness to their classmates.
This year's Geography Challenge is scheduled for March 14th during school!
Registration for the Geography Challenge opens Monday, 2/3! At this time, if your student is interested in participating, they should be talking to friends about forming teams. For younger students, parents often take the lead in organizing teams (remember that Student Directory you got - dig it out!). Once students have their team (3-4 students), they can decide on their team name (don't underestimate the power of a good team name!).
If you or your student is having difficulty finding a team, please reach out to your room parent, teacher, or the geography committee. When emailing one of us, please include your child's name, teacher's name, and any suggested friends (first and last name).
Important Notes about Registration:
Only ONE registration per team
Include first & last names of participants and their teachers' names
Do not register until you have your team name
Remember, your student must attend the Geography Challenge so why not have them participate!
Any questions regarding the format or general questions about the Challenge, please let us or your room parent know. We hope to see all of you there! Thanks - Julie, Kelly, & Lindsay
Mathnasium helps kids build confidence and excel in math through personalized learning plans in a supportive, engaging, and fun environment! This February, we’re celebrating PTO Appreciation Month! For every Burbank student who enrolls at Mathnasium in February and mentions they go to Burbank, we will donate $100 to the Burbank PTA as a way to show our appreciation for all the incredible work they do to support the school and community. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to support the PTA while also helping Burbank students thrive during these pivotal years in their math education! Learn More at https://www.mathnasium.com/
The library has a lot of slots available to come in and help your child's classroom during their library time! Ms. Watson could use lots of help keeping book shelved so our kids can find the books they'd like to check out. Check out your grade's signup and see if there's a day that fits your schedule!
Is your child ever looking for a specific book to grab on their library day? Check out the Burbank Library Online Catalogue!
