Our kindergarteners enjoyed their first special enrichment event on Friday, October 25th. The Puppet Showplace Theatre brought their traveling puppet show to Burbank! The performance, titled "Word Play," took our children on a delightful adventure through the alphabet with interactive characters and imaginative scenes. It was designed to inspire creativity and spark imaginations! The experience was both entertaining and educational. You can learn more about the show here: Word Play — Puppet Showplace Theater.

The Garden Committee needs family volunteers to help clean up the classroom and veggie gardens in preparation for winter! We are planning to meet on Sat., Nov. 16th from 9:30-12:00. In the classroom garden, we will be picking up and storing the painted stones, raking leaves, and pruning bushes. There will be additional cleanup in the veggie garden as well. We have some tools and materials, but it would be great if you can bring some or all of the following:

• Leaf Rakes

• Gloves (if you prefer to wear)

• Wheelbarrow

• Yard Waste Bags (please donate)

The next wave of amazing Burbank PTA Events are coming up this winter, and we could use more help from volunteers to plan these fun community events! No experience necessary - the more that come together to help, the lighter the load is on everybody.

STEM Night is returning Thurs., Jan. 23rd from 6-8 PM! The PTA will never try to eliminate this hugely popular event again after the resounding confirmation from families and students last year that STEM Night is a beloved event! We need volunteers to help us plan, organize, and round up Burbank families and local businesses to host a station with a STEM activity of their choosing. We have many STEM Night volunteers who have planned this event in past years, but this is their last year at Burbank. We need new faces to come in and shadow to pass the torch on for future years!
