Join Ms. Williams, Burbank's Principal, for her monthly Principal Chat THIS Friday, December 6th, 8:45-9:25 AM in Mods Classroom #2. Virtual Option. Starbucks (Arsenal Yards) Coffee and sweet treats from Butternut Cafe provided by the PTA.

Classes run for 8 weeks from January 13th-March 14th
Science is all about discovery and fun! In this class, your child will dive into major scientific concepts like the rock cycle, adaptation, and density through hands-on, interactive activities that make learning exciting. (Gr. 1-3)
Kids will enjoy yoga poses, songs, and games to get the wiggles out, plus learn breathing and mindfulness. This all-levels class is perfect for beginners – let’s stretch, strengthen, and have fun! (K-3)
Calling all crafty kids! Learn the basics of sewing with hands-on projects. From using a sewing machine to hand-sewing, pinning, and cutting fabric, students will create fun, useful projects they’ll be proud to show off! (K-3)
Learn French or Spanish vocabulary and sentence building skills through lots of interactive games, crafts, and musical moments. Instruction is adapted for a variety of levels, making this an excellent introduction for beginners as well as an opportunity for more fluent students to expand their proficiency. Classes include a weekly take-home book to help students remember what they’ve practiced in class. Rola Languages offers small group classes and teaches foreign languages using the Rola Method. This is perfect for new and returning students! (K-3)
Calling all Swifties in K-3! Join Ms. Kulik to sing Taylor’s songs, make art inspired by her lyrics, and play fun games. Whether you're a big fan or just getting to know her music, come celebrate Taylor Swift with us! (K-3)
Dive into the world of chess! Students will learn the basics – how the pieces move, strategies, and game rules – while developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Mrs. Sacca is back for another session of her extremely popular cooking class. Join her in creating fun, edible creations that the class will make and assemble together! The class will be a balance of healthy and nutritious foods...while also finding time to make some fun, sweet treats. (K-3)
The Burbank Book Fair is Back, and this time it's a one-day event! Save the Date for Friday, Dec. 13th from 3:00-7:30 PM, so you can stock up for the holidays and help us clear book lists for teachers and staff! We have moved away from Scholastic and will be utilizing a local vendor, Best Books Fairs, to put on this event. We intend to have books for a variety of ages from PK-young adult, so stock up for all the kids in your life! A portion of all book sales comes right back to Burbank to help fund our enrichments, teacher appreciation initiatives, community events, and more.
Cash and Credit will be accepted! If you can bring some extra cash - we will have bake sale items from Girl Scout Troop 64770 (Burbank's own 3rd Grade Brownies), as well as a raffle for 2 tickets for 12/22 to see The Grinch Musical! All proceeds go directly back to Burbank.
