Cityside Subaru of Belmont Donates $25,195.00 to the Foundation for Belmont Education as their Local Share the Love Charity!
FOR THE 11TH YEAR, Cityside Subaru of Belmont has selected the Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE) to benefit from the Subaru Share the Love fundraiser. This national initiative by the car manufacturer has resulted in donations of more than $200 million to local charities across the U.S. In ten years, CITYSIDE SUBARU HAS DONATED MORE THAN $175,000 TO THE FBE through the Subaru Share the Love program. THANK YOU CITYSIDE SUBARU OF BELMONT for all your past donations, and this year’s wonderful donation of $25,195.00!
What is Share the Love?
Under the Subaru Share the Love program, consumers who purchase or lease a new vehicle between mid-November and early January can select the Foundation for Belmont Education as their charity of choice. Subaru will then donate $75 to the FBE to support educational enrichment and innovation in Belmont’s public schools. Beginning in 2021, Cityside Subaru also expanded their generosity, by donating $5 to the FBE for every vehicle serviced during the Share the Love event!

Please join the FBE for our annual meeting on Friday, June 7th, at 9:30am, at the Chenery Upper Elementary School Community Room. Coffee and pastries will be served! Come meet and mingle with FBE volunteers, board & program committee members, BPS administration members, and learn more about the FBE grants and goals for next year. We will also be drawing the lucky raffle winners!

STAR & Community Awards make a wonderful year-end gift, AND you support the FBE’s mission!
Thank your child’s teacher, or other special staff member, by honoring them with a STAR Award from the Foundation for Belmont Education. With a donation to the Foundation for Belmont Education, of $25 for each award (or $100 for 5 awards), your honored recipient will receive a personalized certificate with the name of the donor and an optional personal message.
For members of the community who you wish to thank for their service to our community, the FBE offers You’re A Star Community Awards. Previous recipient examples include police officers, crossing guards, coaches, and volunteers, but the recipient options are endless, and may include family, friends, or neighbors, etc. They are a wonderful way to say Thank You to someone special.
