That's (almost) a wrap, Wellington! With our few remaining days of school, we hope that you will join us in showing our gratitude to all of the teachers, staff, custodians, crossing guards, and the MANY volunteers in our PTO village, all of whom worked together this year in countless ways to bring enrichment to our student's experiences and delight to our educators.
We will cap off the school year with two special events:
Thursday June 13th is our 3rd Grade Send-Off. Friday June 14th is our last day of school with an early release of 11:40am - and it's our 4th Grade Send-Off.
To the 3rd and 4th grade families - you should have received an email from your student's teacher providing specific details for the Ceremony and Clap-Out for the 3rd and 4th grade send-off celebrations. If you have any questions you can message us at farewellington@gmail.com.
We want to extend a personal shout-out to the Wellington PTO board members and coordinators - and a special recognition to our graduating volunteers. Thank you for your many years of service and for making Wellington such an incredible school community.
Summer Happenings & Staying Connected:
As you know, the PTO provides many community and student enrichment events thanks to our fundraising and volunteer support. Joining the PTO is a wonderful way to build community at Wellington and support our staff and students. With an eye towards next school year, we invite you to complete our PTO Volunteer Interest form - and share how you would like to participate next school year: 2024-2025
Kindergarten Playdates for incoming Kindergarteners - Save-the-Dates: Thursday Aug 29th 5-6pm and Saturday Sept 7th 10a-11am.
We host two Kindergarten play dates on the Blue playground at Wellington. The first is during the summer on Thurs 8/29 and the second is on Sat 9/7 We will have name tags to help you meet your kindergarten classmates and new families and guardians. It’s a beloved community event at Wellington, and we hope to see you there!
Calling all Green Thumbs!
This summer we will be rejuvenating the garden boxes outside of Wellington. We are hoping to get a few volunteers to help clear and replant the garden this July (great for kids!).
