2nd Grade Families invited to All School Assembly - TODAY - 9am

The assembly will focus on the important topic of diversity and will last approximately 30 minutes.
To ensure a smooth visit, please remember:

Sign in at the main office upon arrival.
After the assembly, families should exit through the main entrance once students have been dismissed.

We are so thankful for everyone who has volunteered their time to help out during the lunch periods. Our old sign up link has expired; Please sign up HERE to assist our staff in promoting a smooth lunch hour.

Food Drive

Our annual Food Drive has been rescheduled. For those of you with eagle eyes, you may have seen the Food Drive on our calendar of events and wondered what happened to follow up communication. Life happened :) We are coordinating with the Belmont Food Pantry to reschedule. More information is coming soon!

Celebrating What We Do Best

Winter Walk/Ride/Roll to School Day

Thank you to Yulia Borukhina for stepping up as our Safe Routes to School (SRTS) chair and organizing her first walk/ride/roll to school day! Additional thanks to all the volunteers who came out early to help with hand stamping and cheer! We love seeing the students enter school in the morning with excitement and joy following the brief celebratory welcome.

3rd Grade Enrichment - Author David A. Kelly

3rd graders enjoyed a special visit from David A. Kelly, author of the Ballpark Mysteries series. During his visit, David shared with students the writing process and his personal story about becoming an author and why he chose to combine his love of sports with his love of mystery writing. Students were able to ask many questions as they learned about becoming an author. The visit was a great way to wrap up the 3rd graders reading unit on mysteries! More info on David A. PTA Appreciation Month at Mathnasium!

Mathnasium helps kids build confidence and excel in math through personalized learning plans in a supportive, engaging, and fun environment and this February, we’re celebrating PTA Appreciation Month! For every Winn Brook student who enrolls at Mathnasium in February, we will donate $100 to the PTA as a way to show our appreciation for all the incredible work they do to support the school and community. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to support the PTA while also helping Winn Brook students thrive during these pivotal years in their math education!
