Ways you can volunteer or learn more about what we do:

  • Volunteer Interest Form - non-committal. We will reconnect with you throughout the year to gauge your continued interest and availability. If you select any Chair positions we’ll be in touch to share more about the position and you can decide then if you feel it’s a good fit for you.

Book Fair - 5/19-5/23

Winn Brook’s annual book fair is back next week, May 19-23, directly after school! Come enjoy as our gym transforms into a bookstore. There will be books for children of all ages, with the opportunity to purchase books off your teacher’s wishlist. Purchases are available by cash, check, credit card, mobile wallet (ex. ApplePay), and e-wallet (for students to shop independently and cash free).

For students, it’s one of the most anticipated events of the school year—but we need volunteers to make it happen. We hope that you can offer your time and talents to help students experience Bookjoy firsthand! And every purchase at the Fair directly benefits our school.

So, it’s a win-win!

If you’re available to lend a hand at this upcoming event, please click the link to sign up.

Celebrating What We Do Best

That’s a wrap on Extracurriculars!

A big THANK YOU to Lydia Kogler, Lisa Jurras-Buchanan, and Carrie Cibulskis for organizing such a diverse set of extracurricular activities this year, across 3 sessions! These before and after school courses do so much - provide additional childcare hours, expose our students to new activities, engage mind and/or body, and all proceeds come back to the PTA to support programming throughout the year. Extracurriculars are our largest fundraiser, and would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers!

Spring Walk/Ride/Roll to School Day

Thank you to SRTS Chair Yulia Borukhina and volunteers for another enthusiastic Walk/Ride/Roll to school day!

Kindergarten Intake Day

What an honor it was to meet our incoming Kindergartners and their families! We saw some familiar faces and many new ones. PTA volunteers assisted with check-in, welcoming our newest community members, and sharing information about the Winn Brook PTA.

Staff Appreciation Week

Thank you to Staff Appreciation Week Chairs Elisa Perry and Danielle Harrell, WBExL Director (and Winn Brook parent) Ashely Quan, Libby Weintraub, Polina Gasparian, and Corrine Taylor.
This was a week packed with tokens of appreciation for all the hard working staff who go above and beyond to educate and support our children.

Belmont Summer Enrichment

Are you looking for fun, educational opportunities for your children this summer? If so, Belmont Summer Enrichment is a great choice for you! BSE offers a variety of different classes for incoming Pre-K through incoming grade 7 students, in addition to an intern program for students in grades 8 and up.  Some of our courses include Engineering, Coding, Chess, Sports, Improv, Graphic Design, and Art Creations and many are taught by our own BPS teachers! This is a great way to keep curious minds thinking over the summer and maintaining good learning habits so your child will be ready and excited to learn in the fall!
