We will be helping the 3rd grade class celebrate their years at Winn Brook with an End of Year Party with lots of dancing, music, snacks, and fun! We are requesting third grade families to help with:

Donations: we appreciate any support you can give. Amazon wishlist linked here. When checking out, choose Leanne Langmaid as the shipping address (you may have to switch it from your own). https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3H8FJKMR5YN7W?ref_=wl_share

Staff Treats - June 5

Please consider donating to our last Staff Treats day of the year! Sign up here. Every month we have heard that these days truly help our staff feel appreciated and they look forward to them!

Ice Cream Social - June 11, 5:30-7 pm

Mark your calendars for Winn Brook’s spring ice cream social! This event always draws a crowd, and we can use your help to set up, scoop, and clean up. Click here to sign up to volunteer during the Ice Cream Social - possibly the easiest way to bring a smile to a child’s face!

Last Day Clap Out - June 17, 10:50 am

There is a tradition at Winn Brook that the graduating class parades around the outside of the school where parents are welcome to watch and cheer from behind the cones.  Arrive by 10:50 as they will begin their walk at 11:00. After the clap out, students will come back to their classrooms to say goodbye and collect their bags. Students will be dismissed at the end of our half day at 11:40.

Please see this map for more information.

Photo Submissions

We’re trying something new! After receiving repeated feedback from yearbook committees regarding the enormity of collecting and formatting photos, we’re going to try being proactive in our photo collection!

Do you have any photos from Winn Brook events? We’d love to collect them to prepare for your yearbooks in the coming years! Please remember to submit only Winn Brook event photos, and not private activities such as birthday parties and play dates.

We have made folders for each Winn Brook graduation class, and subdivided by year. Feel free to upload the last year or two as well!

Folders for this year are available here:
Kindergarten
1st Grade
2nd Grade
3rd Grade - you’re off the hook as your yearbook team is already hard at work!

Thank you to our Multicultural Night Chairs Michelle Miller, Polina Gasparian, and Kyoungwon Oh for organizing such an enriching evening highlighting the beautiful diversity that makes up the Winn Brook community. Book Fair

Thank you to Book Fair Chairs Polina Gasparian and Libby Weintraub, and to all the volunteers who assisted with set up, clean up, and check out throughout the week. We raised over $1,000 for the PTA! In a world where so many of us buy virtually, it is such fun to see the looks on our kids’ faces as they browse and purchase in person!

3rd Grade Field Day

Thank you to Mr. Franey for another joyous Field Day! This annual tradition brings so much excitment to our 3rd graders and is a wonderful way to mark the end of their time at Winn Brook.

New Bike Racks

We are thrilled to have installed the first of two new bike racks at Winn Brook! This new rack, on Cross Street next to the staff parking lot, will be ready for use next week! We will have a second bike rack installed on the blacktop outside the cafeteria shortly. The days of locking bikes on the fences will soon be behind us.
Thank you to SRTS Chair Yulia Borukhina for bringing this project over the finish line. This project has been 2 years in the making with contributions from previous SRTS chairs Erika Roberts and Carice Reddien, PTA Treasurer Trish Kapur, former Interim Principal Marchand, current principal Ms. LaMontagne, Belmont Facilities Department, Winn Brook custodians Mr. Daye and Mr. Tucker, Paul Morgan (
Family Bike Ride), David Coleman, and Katie Baratta.
