Volunteer to be a room parent for your child’s classroom! Room parents serve as a liaison between the classroom teacher(s), families, and the PTA and help with organization, communication and unity. The work can be done at your convenience, from your home, and typically requires 0-30 minutes weekly.

We need volunteers to help on picture day! If you’re able to show up to school to help coordinate classes with photographers, please sign up here. We will equip you with all the information you need. 

A couple notes about ordering:
While it can be tempting to wait until you see the photo before ordering, please note that a portion of preorder proceeds are forwarded to the PTA. Additionally, orders placed after the preorder deadline are subject to higher package pricing and shipping/handling fees. Retakes will be offered only to students who have preordered, as later orders are often delivered after retake day.

Winn Brook's educators go the extra mile to provide our children with a top-notch school experience. Show your support and appreciation for our awesome teachers and staff by  providing snacks/drinks for our monthly Teacher Treats program. There are many slots available throughout the year with the first opportunity scheduled for September 27th. Learn more and sign up here.

Every year, the PTA distributes a school directory to each family. You must opt-in annually to be included. 

You recently received an email from "Winn Brook Elementary School" with the subject line "BPS Online Forms - please submit". This will prompt you to log in or create a PlusPortals account where you will find “Forms to be completed for the Year 2024–25”. On the second page (Parent/Guardian Information) → Directory OPT-OUT, please select “Yes” to be included in the school directory. You can then update information for each parent/guardian.

If you have already submitted the form and are uncertain what you selected, you can view the form by logging into your account, selecting “Forms” on the header, and then look under “Forms completed for the Year : 2024-25”. As you are unable to edit this form, please email the PTA co-presidents to update your selection, if desired.

We agree with you, it’s confusing!
